Das Gehäuse 2 der Vorrichtung ist durch eine zylindrische Innenwandung 1 in zwei Abteilungen ge- teilt. Die äussere dieser Abteilungen wird durch eine schraubenlinienförmig zum rohrförmigen Auslauf- stutzen 4hin abfallende Saftrinne 3 gebildet. Der innere Teil des Gehäuses, d. h. der durch die Innen- wandung 1 nach aussen hin begrenzte Schneid-und Schnitzelraum steht mit einem den Umfang des Ge- häuses 2 überragenden', einen schrägen Abdeckschirm 6'aufweisenden" breiten Auslass 6 für die Schnitzel in Verbindung.
Gemäss Fig. 1 ist die Vorrichtung mit einer auf die Antriebswelle 9 des Motors aufgesetzten Sieb- bzw. Schleudertrommel 5 für das Entsaften versehen. Eine Reissscheibe 5'liegt am Boden der Trommel 5 auf ; sie ist ebenso wie die Schleudertrommel 5 mit der Antriebswelle verblockt. Der Bodenteil der Trom- mel 5 ist nach aussen hin hochgezogen, so dass er die Innenwandung l überragt. Der Deckel 7 des Gehäu- ses ist mit dem Einfüllstutzen 8 einstückig ausgebildet ; er ist überdies mit einem die Saftrinne 3 bis in den
Bereich des Auslaufstutzens 4 überdeckenden Vorsprung 7'versehen. Wie dies insbesondere Fig. 2 erkennen lässt, ist der separierte Auslaufstutzen 4 für den Saft im Randbereich des breiten Auslasses 6 für die Schnit- zel angeordnet.
Eine solche Bauart bringt erhebliche Vorteile mit sich. Wird die Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von z. B.
Gemüseschnitzel benützt, so wird die Schleudertrommel 5 durch eine entsprechende Schneid- bzw.
Schnitzelscheibe ersetzt, die bis nahe zur Innenwandung 1 heranreicht und den geräumigen Schneid- und Schnitzelraum praktisch abdeckt. Die beim Einpressen des Gemüses durch den Einfüllstutzen auf die
Schnitzelscheibe gebildeten Schnitzel können aus dem breiten Auslass 6 sehr leicht herausfallen, so dass es zu keinerlei Verstopfungen kommt.
Will man dagegen Entsaften und benutzt dazu die Kombination von Schleudertrommel und Reiss- scheibe, so kommt dem Schnitzelauslass in Verbindung mit der zwischen Innenwandung und Gehäuse aus- gebildeten Rillenbahn eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Infolge der Rotation der Schleudertrommel wird nämlich durch die grosse Öffnung Luft angesaugt, welche durch den Schlitz zwischen dem Boden der
Trommel und dem Innenzylinder in derRotationsrichtung in die Saftrinne gelangt. Dieser Luftstrom zwingt den durch die Sieböffnungen der Trommel austretenden und sich in der Rinne sammelnden Saft, beschleunigt seinen Weg entlang der Rinne zu der kleinen Auslassöffnung für den Saft zu nehmen.
Hiedurch ist sowohl der Nachteil beseitigt, dass Saft durch die grosse Öffnung verspritzt wird, als auch insbesondere durch die Sogwirkung der Luft eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Arbeitsweise der Maschine erzielt. Um dabei die Ausbildung einer zu starken Luftströmung und damit ein Versprühen des Saftes zu vermeiden, ist das aus Fig. 3 ersichtliche Merkmal, nämlich eine Öffnung 4'in dem oberhalb des Auslaufstutzens 4 gelegenen Bereich des Gehäuses vorgesehen, die durch den abgeschrägt ausgebildeten Vorsprung 7'des Dekkels 7 nur so weit abgedeckt wird, um ein Herausspritzen des Saftes aus der Öffnung 4'auszuschliessen.
