Bei Plachenfahrzeugen, insbesondere Kraftwagen und Kraftwagenanhängern, die zum Schutze des Transportgutes einen allseits mit einer Plache abgedeckten Skelettralunen besitzeu, ergibt sich vielfach ein grosser Fahrwiderstand dadurch, dass sich die Plache an der beim Fahren vorne liegenden Stirnwand unter der Wirkung des Luftwiderstandes konkav nach innen wölbt. Um diesen Nachteil zu beseitigen, hat man vorgeschlagen eine gitterartige Versteifung anzubringen, welche eine Vorwölbung der Plache bewirkt und so den Luftwiderstand verringert.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Plachenfahrzeug der vorerwähnten Art, welches sich gegen- über den bekannten Ausführungen durch besonders einfache und zweckmässige Ausführung der Versteifung auszeichnet, indem sie erfindungsgemäss aus hohlgepresstem Sperrholz besteht.
Eine solche Versteifung ist sehr leicht, da sie aus dünnem Holz besteht und in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang auf einer entsprechenden Presse billig herstellbar ist.
