Type printing telegraph device with line feed device Mr Blattdruck.
In type printing telegraph devices for sheet printing there is a desire to be able to remove the paper printed with messages in sheets of the same size from the type printer, in order to be able to use them e.g. B. to use as letterhead or to be able to put them in folders.
According to the invention, the type printing telegraph device is therefore provided with a device by which the automatic blocking of the incremental switching that takes place after each line feed switching can be canceled. The lifting of the block depends on the length of the paper that has been advanced, so that, regardless of the number of lines written, it is automatically switched until a certain amount of paper has expired. The device for releasing the blocking can also instead be made dependent on a special device which is dependent on the number of revolutions of the switching drum moving the paper.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of a mechanically operating type printing telegraph device is shown schematically.
1 with the pusher roller is referred to, on which the rolling paper tape 2 from a supply roll is guided. When the button lever (not shown) provided for the line advance is pressed, the selector rails (also not shown) are put together to form a combination in which the pull rod 3 is pulled to the right by the one-time rotation of the pressure device. A one-armed lever 4 is connected to the pull rod 3 and engages with a pin in the elongated hole of a pull rod 5. A bumper 17 is also attached to the lever 4, which z. B. by a push latch with a one-time back and forth, the platen 1 and thus the paper advances by a line width, as on typewriters u. Like. Is known.
The lever 5 moved to the right by the lever 4 rotates the toggle lever 7 via the lever 6 in the direction of the arrow, whereby the pull rod 8 is moved to the left. The pull rod 8 is used to trigger the pressure device for a single cycle, u. zw. By means of the pawl 10, which engages in a groove of the device, not shown, after the cycle has been completed. The release of this lever takes place normally with each line by means of the release bracket 9. The lever piece 7 is prevented from returning by a pawl 11 which is under resilient pressure, so that the pull rod; e 8 and thus the pawl 10 of the printer clutch cannot collapse.
As a result, the printer clutch rotates continuously and pulls the pull rod 3 controlling the indexing device 17 back and forth, so that the paper is continuously indexed. The number of automatic increments is now made dependent on the length of the expired paper in that the pawl 11 releases the lever 7 after a certain length has elapsed. For this purpose, on the left outer edge of the paper, a perforation can be made at desired intervals, into which the lever 12 can fall. The distance between two perforation holes is dimensioned according to the desired normalized length of the printed sheets.
If the lever 12 falls into such a hole 13 of the perforation, the push rod 14 gives way and the crank 15 rotates the axis of the locking hook in the direction of the arrow, so that the lever 7 can pivot to the left, thereby preventing the pawl 10 from falling the groove of the rotating printing device enables, whereby the stepping is terminated,

If the attachment of holes to the edge of the paper is not desired, a roller coupled to the paper roller 1, which is also provided with incisions into which the feeler lever? can come up. The same pulse combination is used to actuate the sheet feed that causes the line feed in normal writing.
It must therefore be ensured that the automatic switching only takes place when the carriage with the paper is completely returned, i.e. H. when the feeler lever 12 is under the path of the holes in the paper. To ensure this, a special sheet 16 is arranged which holds the paper, which is only loosely guided at this point, against the feeler lever 12 and is kept so narrow that it presses the lever 12 down when the carriage is in the initial position, i.e. H. the rightmost position.
The same purpose is achieved by making the locking of the lever 11 dependent on the carriage movement, whereby it is only released in the initial position.
The paper of the supply roll of the new type printing telegraph is expediently continuously printed as a form or as letterhead, so that the separated sheets of the same size are always ready as letterhead or the like.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Type printing telegraph device for sheet printing with sheet feed perpendicular to the line direction, the line feed device (17) of which is triggered after the end of a line and automatically blocked after the line feed, characterized by a trigger (7, 8) which acts on the pawl (10) and which is actuated by a pulse combination assigned to it that lifts the pawl (10) and locks it in the lifted position, as well as by a device that is dependent on the length of paper passing through and that releases the bolt (11) again after a predetermined length of paper has passed through and thereby with the help of the released The pawl (10) blocks the line feed.
