Bei diesem Verfahren zum Verbinden von Muffenrohres ist das in die Muffe eingeschobene Rohrende mit einem auswärts gerichteten Bördelrand versehen, über den der freie Rand der Muffe um gekantet ist, wobei zur Abdichtung der Verbindung der umgekantete Rand der Muffe mit dem ändern Rohr durch eine   Schweissnaht   verbunden ist.
