Electrical switching device for actuation by small mechanical movements.
The invention deals with the exact enlargement of displacement movements for electrical maintenance purposes by using the double lever arrangement which doubles the simple transmission ratio of the previously known devices. Furthermore, through its rigid design and play-free mounting of the levers, it considerably reduces any elastic changes in shape that play a decisive role in the extremely short distances involved and, apart from other structural advantages, allows it to be accommodated in the smallest of spaces.
The invention aims to automatically open and close electrical circuits under the influence of external physical processes such as heat, pressure, moisture and the like. The like. These processes are linked in a suitable manner with changes in the position of bodies, for example the bottom of a pressure bellows, under the influence of changing pressure, which act on the switching device.
In the case of a design with contact pairs acting in opposite directions, not only can the automatic regulation of the physical process influencing the switching device be achieved retrospectively by, for example, switching it on and off in the case of electrical heating, thus resulting in a constant temperature of the heating device also control more complex processes in the same way by means of separate electrical circuits, for example precise maintenance of a certain pressure or a certain degree of humidity through the electrical influence of throttling and adjusting devices such as valves, taps, slides, throttle flaps and the like. like
What is essential here is that an adjusting screw or the like is switched on between the automatic switching device and the adjusting element which influences it, which adjusts the switching device to a certain state, e.g. B. the setting to a certain temperature allowed. This enables sensitive self-regulation, for example at very high basic temperatures. Attaching the adjusting screw to the adjusting element makes it possible, in a very simple manner, to influence both contact levers in exactly the same way, since they both act next to one another on the adjusting element.
In the drawing, several application examples reflecting the concept of the invention are shown. Fig. 1 shows the double lever arrangement in principle. Two levers 1 and 2, which are movably against each other without bearing play, for example in the cutter bearings 3 and 4, are influenced in opposite directions by the adjusting member 6 acting on point 5 and actuating both levers 1 and 2 in the same sense, in that they are designed as opposing angle levers . Fig. 2 brings an application of the inventive concept for Sehaltzwecken. The levers 9 and 10, which rotate around the bearings 7 and 8, carry the electrical contacts 11 and 120 at their upper ends.
B. executes small displacement movements according to the thermal expansion of a heat sensor, holding processes are effected. If, for example, the temperature of an electrical heating device rises, the adjusting element 14 will move upwards and separate the contacts 11 and 12, whereby the heating current is interrupted via a relay or the like. As a result, the temperature of the heating device drops, the adjusting element 14 moves downwards and allows the two contacts 11 and 12 to come together again. The heating circuit is switched on again and the work cycle starts again.
In the same way, with gas heating, a solenoid-operated gas valve can be controlled via the two contacts, for example, which is opened if the temperature is too low and closed if the temperature is too high.

Furthermore, the same device, with a corresponding design of the sensor element influencing the adjustment device 6, allows the automatic maintenance of a certain degree of humidity of room air by the automatic adjustment of an atomizer valve in conjunction with the automatic control of a fan.
The application examples can be extended to all other physical states such as pressure, mixture, quantity, density, etc., all of which can be automatically maintained or regulated by means of the automatic switching device.
An expansion of the inventive concept is shown in FIG. 3. The two levers 15 and 16 rotate around the bearings 17 and 18 and are pressed by the springs 19 and 20 against the adjusting screw 21 with the surface 22. The adjusting screw 21 is located in the bypass 23, which, influenced by the physical process, performs upward and downward displacement movements. The lever 16 carries the two contacts 24 and 25, the lever 15 carries the pair of contacts 26 and 270 arranged on both sides. The figure shows the contact position in the neutral position. If the bypass 23 executes a downward movement, the contact 27 located on the lever 15 will come into contact with the contact 25 of the lever 16, whereas if the bypass 23 moves upward, it will establish a current connection between the contacts 24 and 26.
This separate contact makes it possible to automatically regulate physical states within certain, manually adjustable limits.
On the other hand, this device can be used to control an adjusting motor, for example for a flue gas valve, so that it rotates to the left depending on the relative position of the contacts to one another,
EMI2.1
even if the greatest adjustment forces are required.
The above application examples give a small selection of the many possible applications of the inventive concept, which extends to all types of automatic regulation
