Description

    Rohrpostanlage.

 EMI1.1

    Pneumatic tube system.

The invention enables pneumatic tube systems to be promoted both in one direction and at the same time in the other. For this purpose, there are diversion pipes through which the opposing ones
Canisters or other objects to be conveyed past one another.

The drawing shows an example of such an arrangement.

A pipe string a opens by means of a pipe b into a string c and this by means of a pipe d into the string a. There is an opening e between the tubes a, b and an opening f between the tubes c, d. These openings can be provided in the pipe walls or can form interruptions by which the pipe walls are separated from one another. The strand a has a valve flap h and a travel tube contact i between its fork point g and the opening e. The tube b is with

Stop r shows the direction in which the flaps h, n,!, Q are movable.

The contacts i, 7e control the drive of a fan of the line a, the contacts o, k also the drive of a fan of the line c. These fans are not shown.

The arrow s indicates the direction of the compressed air of the strand a, the arrow t the direction of that of the strand c.

The bushes, which approach one another in these directions, pass through the openings c, f into the tubes b, à. The flaps q, l are kept closed by the compressed air that is effective here, so that this does not prevent the bushes from entering the tubes b, il. The fans are stopped by means of the contacts i, o, which are switched over by the bushings. The bushes then switch the fan on again by means of the contacts k, p, u. between these are now rotated so that they generate suction air. The flaps l, q therefore open under the pressure of the acting through the openings e, f
Outside air, which then flows into the tubes b, d and the bushes located there in the strands c, a.

The suction air prevailing in these strands keeps the flaps n, h closed so that they can only take the paths e, b, c and f, il, a, but not f, c or e, a and therefore enter the with full force
Pipes b, il acts.
