Bahnen.
Fahrdrähte elektrischer Bahnen werden in vielen Fällen durch Klemmen gehalten, die aus zwei Backenhälften bestehen. Da es für die Lage der Fahrdrähte wichtig ist, dass die Klemmenhälften einander genau gegenüberliegen, hat man bereits an ihrer oberen Kante an der einen Backe eine Nut, an der andern eine in die Nut passende Leiste vorgesehen. Derartige Klemmen haben den Nachteil, dass die Backen- hälften ungleich sind. Hiedurch wird die Herstellung und auch die Lagerhaltung verteuert.
Die den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende Fahrdrahtklemme weist diese Nachteile nicht auf.
Hier sind die oberen Kanten der Backenhälften zu beiden Seiten der Mitte so ausgebildet, dass auf der einen Seite ein vorspringender Teil und auf der andern eine diesem Teil entsprechende Pfanne angeordnet sind. Auf diese Weise sind beide Backenhälften einander genau gleich und können in derselben Pressform hergestellt werden.

An jeder Hälfte befindet sich ein Vorsprung d, der in die gegen- Überliegende Pfanne der andern Backe hineinpasst. Auf diese Weise wird eine Verschiebung der Backenhälften gegeneinander in der Richtung senkrecht zur Fahrdrahtachse verhindert.
Die besondere Form des vorspringenden Teiles und der ihn aufnehmenden Pfanne ist nicht Gegenstand des Schutzes. Es kann beispielsweise auch ein kegelförmiger Vorsprung mit entsprechender Pfanne verwendet werden.

Contact wires for electric railways are in many cases held by clamps consisting of two halves of the jaw. Since it is important for the position of the contact wires that the clamp halves are exactly opposite each other, a groove has already been provided on their upper edge on one jaw and a bar that fits into the groove on the other. Such clamps have the disadvantage that the jaw halves are unequal. This increases the cost of production and storage.
The contact wire clamp forming the subject of the invention does not have these disadvantages.
Here, the upper edges of the jaw halves on both sides of the center are designed in such a way that a protruding part is arranged on one side and a pan corresponding to this part is arranged on the other. In this way, both jaw halves are exactly the same and can be produced in the same mold.
