Will man den Kaffee oder Thee nicht mittelt des Rechauds, sondern auf dem Herd der Gasfeuerung oder dgl. bereiten, so darf der Apparat nur vom Rechaud abgenommen und auf die betrefiende Feuerung gestellt werden.
Das Rechaud selbst lässt sich ebenfalls für sich allein zu beliebigen Zwecken verwenden.
Die Kaffeemaschine und deren Teile sind somit in mannigfaltigster Weise nützlich, während bisher solche Maschinen nur für einen Zweck verwendet werden konnten. Da die Maschinen sich nicht teurer als die gewöhnlichen stellen, so ist dadurch auch minderbemittelten Familien Gelegenheit geboten, sich ein für Herstellung von Kaffee und Thee dienendes, auch für verschiedene andere Zwecke nützliches Haushaltungsgerät zu beschaffen.
