Abstract

La invención proporciona un aparato para trombectomía que incluye un catéter con balón, un tubo de transmisión y una vaina. El catéter con balón se inserta de manera deslizable en el tubo de transmisión y la vaina recubre el tubo de transmisión. Los extremos distal y proximal del catéter con balón están respectivamente conectados a un balón y una unidad de perfusión. El tubo de transmisión está conectado en forma giratoria al cabezal de aspiración de trombos. El extremo distal del tubo de transmisión está conectado de manera fija a un cortador de fragmentación de trombos. El cortador de fragmentación de trombos está alojado en el cabezal de aspiración de trombos. El extremo proximal del tubo de transmisión está conectado a la unidad de accionamiento. El extremo proximal de la vaina está conectado a la unidad de aspiración. El espacio entre la pared exterior del tubo de transmisión y la pared interior de la vaina sirve como un canal de aspiración de trombos que está en comunicación con el cabezal de aspiración de trombos. Un canal de llenado está formado en el catéter con balón. La unidad de perfusión está configurada para inyectar el primer líquido en o extraer el primer líquido del balón a través del canal de llenado para expandir o contraer el balón. La unidad de perfusión también está configurada para proporcionar el segundo líquido a un área entre el balón y el cabezal de aspiración de trombos. La unidad de aspiración está configurada para aspirar el trombo dentro del cabezal de aspiración de trombos a través del canal de aspiración de trombos.
