Abstract
Un sistema quirúrgico para tratar un tejido corporal, comprendiendo el sistema: un instrumento de corte quirúrgico (22) que incluye: un elemento interno (56) que incluye una punta de corte distal (102), un extremo proximal, una ventana de vacío proximal (103) situada entre la punta de corte distal y el extremo proximal, y una luz (105) que se extiende entre la punta de corte distal y el extremo proximal, en el que la luz está en comunicación fluida con la punta de corte distal, la ventana de vacío proximal y el extremo proximal; un elemento externo (52) que tiene una región distal (66) que forma una ventana de corte; un acoplador (33) que mantiene los elementos interno y externo de tal modo que el elemento interno se recibe giratoriamente en el elemento externo, estando la punta de corte expuesta en la ventana de corte, en el que la punta de corte y la región distal se combinan para definir una herramienta de corte caracterizada por que el acoplador comprende una envolvente externa (64) y una envolvente interna (62) dispuesta coaxialmente en la envolvente externa, incluyendo la envolvente interna una apertura (136); y un mecanismo de control de la aspiración (34) integrado en un interior del acoplador y que define una trayectoria de control de la aspiración (65) entre un primer orificio (35) en la envolvente externa expuesto en un exterior del acoplador y un segundo orificio definido por la ventana de vacío proximal, conectable el segundo orificio a una fuente de presión negativa (24) por medio del extremo proximal y la luz del elemento interno, y en el que una parte de la trayectoria de control de la aspiración incluye el primer orificio y la apertura, en el que el mecanismo de control de la aspiración proporciona control de usuario sobre un nivel de vacío aplicado en la punta de corte distal por medio del posicionamiento selectivo de un dedo sobre el primer orificio.
