Abstract
Un método mejorado de electrodiálisis para preparar un aminoácido a partir de una sal del aminoácido utilizando un proceso de electrodiálisis en celdas de tres compartimientos con membrana bipolar en el cual se agrega un electrolito acuoso que comprende un ácido exógeno al compartimiento de ácido de un aparato de tres compartimientos con membrana bipolar. El ácido exógeno es diferente del aminoácido y típicamente tiene una pKa menor que la pKa del aminoácido.
