Abstract
La presente se refiere a biotecnología y proporciona moléculas de ADN recombinante y proteínas modificadas genéticamente para conferir tolerancia a herbicidas inhibidores de protoporfirinógeno oxidasa. También proporciona plantas, semillas, células y partes de plantas transgénicas tolerantes a herbicidas que contienen las moléculas de ADN recombinante, así como métodos para su uso. Reivindicación 1: Una molécula de ADN recombinante, caracterizado porque comprende un promotor heterólogo unido operativamente a una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica una proteína que tiene al menos el 85% de identidad de secuencia con una secuencia de polipéptidos seleccionada del grupo que consiste en: SEQ ID Nº 2 y 12, en donde la proteína tiene actividad de protoporfirinógeno oxidasa insensible a herbicidas.
