Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un aparato de desecación, donde el aparato comprende: un tambor hueco montado para girar alrededor de un eje sustancialmente horizontal, donde el tambor está definido por una carcasa que tiene una superficie interior y una superficie exterior; y un medio para generar flujo de aire a través del tambor hueco. Reivindicación 14: Un método para la eliminación de agua de una materia prima que contiene agua, donde el método comprende: introducir la materia prima en un tambor hueco montado para girar alrededor de un eje sustancialmente horizontal, donde el tambor está definido por una carcasa que tiene una superficie interior y una superficie exterior; generar un flujo de aire a través del tambor hueco; y al menos periódicamente girar el tambor hueco.
