Abstract

Las realizaciones reveladas en la presente memoria se refieren a la producción de polipropileno. Una materia prima de hidrocarburo, que contiene propano, se alimenta a una zona de reacción de deshidrogenación de propano para convertir una porción del propano a propileno. El propano y el propileno se separan, y por lo menos una porción de la corriente de propileno se alimenta a una zona de polimerización. En la zona de polimerización, el propileno se hace reaccionar para producir un polipropileno. Además, un gas de purga y un gas portador se recuperan. Los gases de purga y de portador se alimentan al sistema de separación y se enfrían contra una segunda porción de la corriente de propileno.
