Abstract

Un vehículo terrestre tal como un camión tiene una o más cámaras de video montadas para capturar un campo de visión que incluye imágenes delanteras y frontales del vehículo. El vehículo también incluye una o más pantallas que miran hacia atrás, montadas en la parte trasera que se acoplan operativamente a tal cámara. Las imágenes de adelante desde el lado frontal del vehículo se presentan en las pantallas antes mencionadas para proporcionar con ello un observador situado detrás del vehículo con esa imagen de adelante de la carretera. Con dicha configuración, a los conductores que buscan pasar tal vehículo se les proporciona información en tiempo real con respecto a las circunstancias que pueden afectar en gran medida la seguridad de tal acción y se puede utilizar esa información para informar mejor sus decisiones y acciones.
