Abstract

La producción de una gonadotropina coriónica equina recombinante (reCG), a una composición veterinaria comprendiendo la reCG, y al uso de la reCG o de la composición comprendiendo reCG. La reCG posee un perfil de glucosilación similar a aquel de las gonadotropinas coriónicas comercialmente disponibles y exhibe un nivel de actividad in vivo correspondiente al eCG y similar al de las hormonas FSH y LH. Tiene aplicación en el campo de la biotecnología, más específicamente, en el campo de reproducción asistida veterinaria, siendo especialmente adecuada para ser utilizada en el tratamiento de condiciones veterinarias relacionadas a la reproducción y a la ovulación de mamíferos, para la fabricación de kits de diagnóstico o como suplemento para el cultivo de células.
