Abstract
Un sistema de identificación de huevos para determinar la viabilidad de un huevo aviar. Tal sistema incluye un conjunto emisor configurado para emitir radiación electromagnética hacia un huevo. Un conjunto de detector está alineado axialmente con el conjunto emisor para detectar la radiación electromagnética transmitida a través del huevo. El conjunto detector está separado del huevo durante la operación del mismo, tal que el conjunto detector no contacta con el huevo. La radiación electromagnética detectada se utiliza para generar una señal de salida. La señal de salida se procesa para determinar si existe una variación periódica o una perturbación aperiódica en una intensidad de la radiación electromagnética transmitida a través del huevo correspondiente a la acción de un movimiento del corazón o del embrión, en el que la existencia de la variación periódica o perturbación aperiódica indica que el huevo es viable. También un procedimiento asociado.
