Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema líquido que comprende un primer componente y un segundo componente en donde los componentes son seleccionados entre el grupo formado por carbohidratos, alcoholes de azúcar, ácidos de grado alimenticio, sales de grado alimenticio, y solventes no acuosos de grado alimenticio en donde: i) el segundo componente es diferente al primer componente; ii) el sistema tiene un punto de fusión más bajo que cada uno de los componentes; y iii) el sistema liquido comprende 7% o menos de agua. Los sistemas son útiles para proteger un ingrediente activo en un sistema alimenticio en donde el ingrediente es estable a temperatura ambiente y retiene sus; propiedades sensoriales después de diluirse en una bebida acuosa por ejemplo para formar una bebida acuosa saborizada.
