Abstract
Se divulgan sistemas y métodos para la automatización de la perforación de fondo de pozo en base al perfil y la energía del pozo que se perfora. Un método incluye: hacer avanzar un conjunto de fondo de pozo (BHA) dentro de una formación subterránea y de ese modo formar un pozo a lo largo de una trayectoria de pozo real, incluyendo el BHA un módulo controlador, uno o más sensores y un conjunto de dirección; tomar mediciones de levantamiento con los sensores en dos o más estaciones de levantamiento a lo largo de la trayectoria de pozo real; comparar las mediciones de levantamiento con datos correspondientes a una trayectoria de pozo planificada; determinar una vía de retorno en base a la energía mínima de la trayectoria de pozo real, cuando la trayectoria de pozo real se ha desviado de la trayectoria de pozo planificada; y transmitir una señal de comando correctivo al conjunto de dirección a fin de reorientar una trayectoria de la vía de pozo real, de manera que vuelve a la trayectoria de pozo planificada.
