Abstract

De acuerdo con algunas modalidades de la presente descripción, se describen sistemas y métodos para un sistema de control de orientación de herramientas basado en la planificación de ganancias para una herramienta de perforación dirigible rotativa. El método incluye determinar una orientación de herramienta deseada de una herramienta de perforación, calcular un error en la orientación de la herramienta mediante la determinación de una diferencia entre una orientación de herramienta actual y la orientación de herramienta deseada, determinar múltiples puntos de funcionamiento de la herramienta de perforación, seleccionar uno de los múltiples puntos de funcionamiento en función de un punto de funcionamiento de corriente de la herramienta de perforación, determinar un modelo en función de la selección, calcular una corrección para corregir el error en la orientación de la herramienta, donde la corrección se basa en el modelo, transmitir una señal a la herramienta de perforación de forma tal que la señal ajuste la orientación de herramienta actual en función de la corrección y perforar un pozo con una barrena de perforación orientada en la orientación de herramienta deseada.
