Abstract

De acuerdo con algunas modalidades de la presente descripción, se describen sistemas y métodos para un sistema de control de orientación de herramientas no lineal para una herramienta de perforación dirigible rotativa. El método incluye determinar una orientación de herramienta deseada de una herramienta de perforación, calcular un error en la orientación de la herramienta mediante la determinación de una diferencia entre una orientación de herramienta actual y la orientación de herramienta deseada, generar un modelo para describir la dinámica de la herramienta de perforación, modificar el modelo, en función de al menos una variable intermedia, para crear un modela modificado, calcular una corrección para reducir el error en la orientación de la herramienta, donde la corrección se basa en el modelo modificado, transmitir una señal a la herramienta de perforación de forma tal que la señal ajuste la orientación de herramienta actual en función de la corrección y perforar un pozo con una barrena de perforación orientada en la orientación de herramienta deseada.
