Abstract

Composición para la protección contra cascarilla y como lubricante para el procesamiento de metales en caliente, la cual comprende una mezcla de materiales pulverulentos finos, en donde la mezcla contiene al menos los siguientes componentes: (a) 0 a 15% en peso de compuesto de fosfato cálcico secundario o terciario, hidroxilapatita o una mezcla de los mismos, (b) 0,1 a 35% en peso de ácido graso, sal de ácido graso o una mezcla de los mismos, (c) 1 a 90% en peso de vidrio de borosilicato molido, el cual en relación al vidrio de borosilicato contiene Na, B, Si y Al en las siguientes proporciones en peso, expresado por sus respectivos óxidos: 1 a 30% en peso de Na₂O, 2 a 70% en peso de B₂O₃, 10 a 70% en peso de SiO₂, y 0 a 10% en peso de Al₂O₃, (d) 9 a 85% en peso de fosfatos de metal alcalino condensados, (e) ácido bórico, sal de ácido bórico o una mezcla de los mismos, en una cantidad correspondiente al contenido de boro, expresado por el óxido, de 0 a 3,2% en peso de B₂O₃; y (f) 0 a 10% en peso de grafito, presentando la mezcla un tamaño medio de partículas D₅₀ de £ 300 mm.
