Abstract

Se proporcionan constructos y métodos para expresar varios genes en células de plantas y/o tejidos de plantas. Los constructos provistos comprenden por lo menos una unión de promotor bidireccional a cassettes de expresión de varios genes, en donde el promotor bidireccional comprende una secuencia de nucleótido de promotor funcional del promotor del Virus Baciliforme de la Caña de Azúcar. En algunas realizaciones, los constructos y los métodos provistos emplean un promotor bidireccional basado en un elemento de promotor de núcleo mínimo del gen de Ubiquitina 1 de Zea mays, o un equivalente funcional de él y elementos de secuencias de nucleótidos del promotor del Virus Baciliforme de la Caña de Azúcar.
