Abstract
Un aparato destinado a ser utilizado en reacciones catalíticas heterogéneas, que comprende un reactor de columna que comprende una pluralidad de bandejas montadas la una arriba de la otra, estando cada una de ellas adaptada para contener un volumen predeterminado de líquido y una carga de partículas de un catalizador sólido sobre la misma; medios para introducir un reactivo en fase líquida arriba de la bandeja más superior; medios para introducir un reactivo en fase de vapor por abajo de la bandeja más inferior; medios para remover una corriente posreacción en fase líquida desde por debajo de la bandeja más inferior; medios para remover una corriente posreacción en fase de vapor desde por arriba de la bandeja más superior; medios tubería ascendente de vapor asociados con cada bandeja, adaptados para permitir que el vapor ingrese en dicha bandeja desde por debajo; medios de flujo por debajo asociados con cada bandeja y adoptados para remover líquido desde dicha bandeja y de la columna de reactor antes de su introducción en el reactor de columna en una bandeja inferior; medios para dirigir temporalmente dicho líquido removido de una bandeja a efectos de bypasear por lo menos una bandeja inferior y de ser reintroducido en el reactor de columna en una bandeja situada por debajo de dicha por lo menos una bandeja bypaseada; medios para remover el líquido y catalizador, desde dicha por lo menos una bandeja bypaseada; y medios para reemplazar una cantidad de líquido y de catalizador sobre dicha por lo menos bandeja bypaseada.
