Abstract
Un intercambiador térmico, en particular para su uso en el grupo de contacto de una planta de ácido sulfúrico, incluye una cámara (2) en la cual un haz de tubos (12) está dispuesto en un anillo circular, en donde entre el haz de tubos (12) y un casco de cámara (13) que circunda el haz de tubos (12) se forma un espacio de gas (15), una abertura de suministro de gas (6) está provista en el casco de cámara (13) para la introducción de un gas en el espacio de gas (15) en dirección sustancialmente radial con relación al haz de tubos (12), y una abertura de salida de gas que incluye un espacio interior (16) encerrado por el haz de tubos (12) en dirección sustancialmente axial. Se logra un flujo de aproximación uniforme del haz de tubos (12) ya que el centro (ZR) del haz de tubos (12) está desplazado con respecto al centro (ZK) del casco de cámara (13) en una dirección opuesta a la abertura de suministro de gas (6).
