Abstract
La présente invention concerne un échangeur de chaleur, utilisable en particulier dans le groupe de contact d'une installation de production d'acide sulfurique. L'échangeur de chaleur comprend une chambre (2) dans laquelle un faisceau de tubes (12) est disposé sur un anneau circulaire, un volume gazeux (15) étant formé entre le faisceau de tubes (12) et un carter (13) de chambre entourant le faisceau de tubes (12), une ouverture d'alimentation en gaz (6) se trouvant dans le carter (13) de chambre pour introduire un gaz dans le volume gazeux (15) de manière sensiblement radiale par rapport au faisceau de tubes (12), et une ouverture de sortie de gaz qui jouxte un espace interne (16) entouré par le faisceau de tubes (12) dans une direction sensiblement axiale.
