Un aspecto de las realizaciones descriptas se refiere a un analizador, o un clasificador o seleccionador, que tiene una electrónica de adquisición y clasificación o selección en la forma de una disposición de compuerta programable de campo para procesar señales detectadas. Otro aspecto se refiere a una técnica de análisis y clasificación de partículas en base a gotas y que pueden incluir además un elemento dinámico, tal como una demora dinámica de caída. De acuerdo con todavía otro aspecto amplio, un aparato y método para variar dinámicamente otros parámetros de clasificación.
