Abstract

Un aparato de curvado descendente para guiar un producto laminado en caliente que se desplaza a lo largo de una trayectoria curva descendente. El aparato comprende una estructura de soporte estacionaria con un canal de fondo abierto que sigue el contorno de la trayectoria curva. El canal tiene una superficie superior que se superpone con la trayectoria, laterales que se extienden hacia abajo desde la superficie superior, y salientes que se proyectan hacia adentro desde los laterales. Se fijan insertos resistentes al desgaste en el canal. Los insertos están dispuestos de manera que quedan alineados con la superficie superior del canal, con los laterales de los insertos superponiéndose con los salientes que se proyectan hacia adentro, y donde las longitudes de los insertos definen cuerdas de la trayectoria curva.
