Abstract

El control de la expresion de transgenes en plantas depende de los elementos genéticos que afectan tanto a la transcripcion como a la traduccion de transcritos de ARNm. La presente describe la combinacion de elementos de ADN de cuatro virus vegetales diferentes que funcionan como un activador de la transcripcion y un potenciador de la traduccion en transcritos de ARNm en plantas transgénicas. Reivindicacion 1: Un promotor vegetal sintético funcional en una célula vegetal, donde un extremo 5' terminal del promotor vegetal sintético es un potenciador del virus del mosaico de la escrofularia o un potenciador del virus del mosaico del tabaco, y donde un extremo 3' terminal del promotor vegetal sintético es un potenciador del virus del mosaico del tabaco cuando el extremo 5' terminal es el potenciador del virus del mosaico de la escrofularia o el extremo 3' terminal es el potenciador del virus del mosaico de la escrofularia cuando el extremo 5' terminal es el potenciador del virus del mosaico del tabaco.
