Abstract

El promotor de Ubiquitina-1 de Zea mays c.v. B73 (Ubi-1 de Z. mays c.v. B73) conduce a niveles altos de la expresión de transgenes constitutivos en plantas. El uso repetido de los mismos promotores Ubi-1 de Z. mays c.v. B73 en construcciones génicas múltiples también puede llevar a el silenciamiento génico, haciendo de ese modo menos eficaces a los productos transgénicos.
