Abstract

Método continuo para preparar un extracto líquido de grano de cereal pulverizando el grano de cereal a una rata de al menos 100 kg de grano de cereal seco por hora y extrayendo el grano de cereal pulverizado con un líquido, comprendiendo dicho método: combinar de manera continua el grano de cereal con un líquido, desintegrar de manera continua las partículas de grano contenidas dentro del líquido haciendo colisionar libremente las partículas suspendidas con una o más cuchillas rotatorias, produciendo por lo tanto una suspension molida; transferir de manera continua al menos una parte de la suspension molida; opcionalmente después del tratamiento adicional, a un dispositivo de separacion para la separacion en grano procesado y extracto líquido; donde la una o más cuchillas rotatorias están rotando a una velocidad de punta de al menos 10 m/s; la energía mecánica total transferida hacia la suspension molida por la una o más cuchillas rotatorias está en el rango de 5-1000kJ por kg de grano de cereal seco; y la distancia entre una punta de dicha una o más cuchillas rotatorias y el eje de rotacion está en el rango de 2-25 cm. También proporciona un sistema para comprender un aparato de molienda y un dispositivo de separacion adecuado para su uso en el método antes mencionado. El presente método y sistema ofrece varias ventajas, incluyendo ahorros en el gasto de capital y mantenimiento, tiempos de molienda cortos y diseno higiénico.
