Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere al proceso de formulacion y preparacion de catalizadores multimetálicos soportados, a base de oxidos metálicos y sales inorgánicas metálicas. La técnica de impregnacion es empleada a través de dos métodos: el método lodo y el de variacion de pH modificado, que son utilizados en dos etapas para obtener el catalizador. La presente invencion también está relacionada a un proceso denominado Glicerol a Propileno (GTP), correspondiente a la transformacion del glicerol o glicerina en propileno. La reaccion involucrada en el proceso de la presente invencion es la hidrogenacion selectiva de la glicerina, que se produce a través del contacto entre la carga de glicerina conducida por hidrogeno en un sistema de flujo continuo sobre el lecho catalítico que contiene catalizadores multimetálicos específicamente preparados para este fin.
