Abstract

Polipéptido aislado con actividad L-aminoácido-N-acil transferasa y un microorganismo modificado en el que esta enzima se sobreexpresa. Los sustratos de dicha enzima incluyen principalmente metionina y sus derivados o análogos. La sobreexpresion en microorganismos productores de aminoácidos azufrados permite la produccion de mayores cantidades de aminoácidos azufrados n-acilados. También se reivindica el asilamiento de aminoácidos azufrados n-acilados a partir del medio de fermentacion.
