Abstract
Procedimiento continuo para la fabricacion de alambres de cobre o de una aleacion de cobre, en el cual el cobre o la aleacion de cobre se presentan en forma de un lingote de fundicion (1) y es trefilado a una temperatura mayor que 500°C mediante una prensa de extrusion (2), en la que se encuentra una matriz (4) y correspondientes herramientas de trefilado, para obtener uno o varios alambres, caracterizado porque incluye los siguientes pasos, a) proteccion de la oxidacion de los alambres calientes (5) que emergen de a matriz (4) con un gas de proteccion en una zona de estirado (I), b) enfriado de los alambres en una zona de refrigeracion (II) en un bano de agua templado (6) con una temperatura mayor que 60 C, c) medicion de las medidas de la seccion transversal de los alambres después de salir del bano de agua y aplicacion de una fuerza de traccion regulada sobre los alambres, de modo de minimizar las divergencias de las medidas de la seccion transversal de los alambres respecto de una seccion transversal nominal mediante el estirado de los alambres en la zona de estirado (I) y d) colocacion de los alambres sin un afilado previo en una herramienta de trefilar dividida (14), cerrado de la herramienta de trefilar y trefilado de los alambres a la medida final sin interrupcion hasta que se haya consumido el lingote de fundicion.
