Abstract

Método y sistema para medir o recibir datos de firma de un dispositivo de control de proceso, como por ejemplo, una válvula, y analizarlos en relacion con límites y configuraciones establecidas por el usuario para determinar si existe un problema con el funcionamiento del dispositivo de control de proceso. Para asistir al usuario en la configuracion de límites y parámetros característicos se pueden presentar uno o más gráficos de firma correspondientes a mediciones de un período anterior. El Método y sistema de la invencion evaluan un gráfico de firma actual en relacion con límites configurados por el usuario para determinar, entre otras características, si se ha superado un umbral máximo o mínimo de friccion o par motor, si la integridad de un actuador o eje de válvula está en riesgo o no y si las ocurrencias de vibracion se encuentran dentro de un nivel de tolerancia.
