Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um sistema (1) de monitoramento de seres vivos, como pessoas, animais de estimação ou rebanhos, que compreende um dispositivo de monitoramento (10) para monitorar um ser vivo e um dispositivo de usuário (20), como um smartphone, sendo que tais dispositivos são dispostos para se comunicarem por meio de uma conexão de internet (40), e um servidor (30) disposto para se comunicar com o dispositivo de usuário (20) através de uma outra conexão de internet (50). o servidor (30) inclui um programa de software para iniciar periodicamente, através de um programa de software no dispositivo de usuário (20), um protocolo para testar a conexão de internet (40). o sistema é, portanto, capaz de detectar a perda da conexão de internet (40) entre o dispositivo de monitoramento e o dispositivo de usuário.
