Abstract

La presente se refiere a un nuevo proceso para la preparacion del compuesto de la formula general (1) en donde R1 y R2 son independientemente H o alquilo C1-6, el cual comprende tratar con un agente de reduccion o bien un compuesto de la formula general (2); en donde R1 y R2 poseen los significados proporcionados para e compuesto de la formula (1), R3 es H o alquilo C1-4 y Ph es fenilo, o un compuesto de la formula general (3) en donde R1, R2, R3 y Ph poseen los significados proporcionados para el compuesto de la formula (2), siendo el agente de reduccion efectivo para escindir el resto bencilo Ph-CH(R3)- del resto bencilamino PhCH(R3)NH- en el compuesto de la formula (2) o en el compuesto de la formula (3) para dejar un grupo amino y, además, en el caso del compuesto de la formula (3), para reducir tanto el enlace 2,3-doble como el enlace doble que une el resto R1R2C- a la posicion 9 del anillo benzonorborneno a enlaces simples. Ésta también se refiere a procesos para la preparacion de los compuestos (2) y (3) y sus precursores y a los compuestos (2) y (3) en sí mismos y a ciertos de sus precursores, los cuales son nuevos compuestos. Los compuestos (1) son utiles para la preparacion de varias benzonorbornen-5-il- amidas de ácido heterociclil-carboxílico fungicidas.
