Abstract
La presente se refiere a un método para aumentar el rendimiento de plantas al modular la expresion de un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido OsLEA3a o su homologo en una planta. Uno de tales métodos comprende introducir en una planta un ácido nucleico OsLEA3a o su variante. La presente también se refiere a plantas transgénicas con ácido nucleico OsLEA3a o su variante introducidos en ellos, cuyas plantas tiene rendimiento aumentado y perfil metabolico alterado con respecto a plantas de control. La presente además se refiere a constructos utiles en los métodos de la misma.
