Abstract

Una secuencia aislada de ADN que corresponde a una region del promotor humano del gen SPARC desde -513 pares de bases hasta +35 pares de bases capaz de dirigir la expresion de un gen heterologo de interés, que puede estar asociada a cualquier otra secuencia promotora, tal como secuencias de respuesta a irradiacion, a hipoxia y a radicales libres. Se proveen constructos y vectores virales de expresion recombinante de ADN, que comprenden dicha secuencia aislada del promotor humano del gen SPARC y al menos un gen heterologo operablemente ligado a la misma, donde dicha secuencia promotora dirige la expresion del al menos un gen heterologo en células tumorales. Se proveen composiciones farmacéuticas y un método para tratar tumores.
