Se proveen nuevas secuencias promotoras de polinucleotido aisladas de plantas, junto con cosntrucciones genéticas que comprenden tales polinucleotidos. Además se revelan métodos para usar tales construcciones en la modulacion de la transcripcion de secuencias de ADN de interés, junto con plantas transgénicas que comprenden tales construcciones. Reivindicacion 1: Un polinucleotido aislado que comprende una secuencia seleccionada del grupo integrado por: SEC ID No. 1-17 y 38-48.
