Abstract

Se da a conocer un procedimiento para producir 2-metil-4-(4-metil-1-piperazinil)-10h-tieno[2,3-b][1,5]benzodiazepina en forma pura. El procedimiento comprende hacer reaccionar 2-(2-aminoanilino)-5-metiltiofen-3-carbonitrilo con N-metil-piperazina, junto con sal ácida de N-metil-piperazina, con el fin de producir 2-metil-4-(4-metil-1-piperazinil)-10h-tieno[1,5]benzodiazepina. Se da a conocer también un procedimiento para obtener la forma polimorfica I de 2-metil-4-(4-metil-1-piperazinil)-10h- tieno[2,3][1,5]benzodiazepina mediante la cristalizacion de 2-metil-4(4-metil-1-piperazinil)-10h-tieno[2,3][1,5]benzodiazepina bruta en una mezcla de disolventes.
