Изобретение относится к способу получения 5-[2-циклопропил-1-(2-фторфенил)-2-оксоэтил]-4,5,6,7-тетрагидротиено[3,2-с]пиридин-2-ил ацетат гидрохлорида формулы I (гидрохлорида прасугреля) в кристаллической форме В, где основание прасугреля формулы II растворяют или суспендируют в органическом растворителе и подвергают взаимодействию с хлористым водородом, растворенным в органическом растворителе или в воде при температуре в диапазоне от -20 до 75°С, и кристаллизуют, необязательно после добавления сорастворителя.
