Abstract
Procedimiento para recubrir por inmersión en metal fundido una pieza de metal en forma de barra (1), especialmente un fleje de metal, donde la pieza de metal en forma de barra (1) se hace pasar verticalmente a través de un recipiente (3) que contiene el metal de recubrimiento fundido (2) y a través de un canal de guiado (4) previo de altura definida (H), donde se genera en la zona del canal de guiado (4), un campo electromagnético por medio de dos inductores (5) dispuestos a ambos lados de la pieza de metal en forma de barra (1) para retener el metal de recubrimiento (2) dentro del recipiente (3). Para evitar turbulencia en el bano de recubrimiento se prevé, según la presente, conducir una corriente volumétrica dada (Q) de metal de recubrimiento (2) hacia la zona estrecha y alta (H) del canal de guiado (4). La presente también se refiere a un dispositivo para recubrir por inmersión en metal fundido una pieza de metal en forma de barra.
