Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO PARA REVESTIR FIOS DE METAL POR IMERSãO EM BANHO QUENTE". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo para revestir fios de metal (1), particularmente fios de aço, por imersão em banho quente, sendo que o fio de metal (1) deve poder ser conduzido verticalmente através de um recipiente (3) contendo o metal para revestimento (2) fundido, bem como através de um canal de guia (4) posicionado a montante, sendo que um indutor eletromagnético (5) está posicionado na região do canal de guia (4) e pode produzir correntes de indução no metal para revestimento (2), para reter o metal para revestimento (2) dentro do recipiente (3) por meio de um campo eletromagnético de ondas progressivas, as quais exercem uma força eletromagnética em ação recíproca com o campo eletromagnético de ondas progressivas, e sendo que o indutor (5) apresenta pelo menos duas bobinas principais (6) que são posicionadas seq³encialmente uma após a outra no sentido do deslocamento (X) do fio de metal (1), bem como pelo menos duas bobinas corretoras (7) para regular o posicionamento do fio de metal (1) no canal de guia (4) na direção (N) normal em relação à superficie do fio de metal (1), as quais também estão localizadas seq³encialmente uma após a outra no sentido de deslocamento (X) do fio de metal (1). Para melhorar a eficiência da regulagem da tira de metal no canal de guia, a presente invenção prevê que pelo menos uma parte das bobinas corretoras (7), observadas no sentido de deslocamento (X) do fio de metal (1), estejam posicionadas perpendicularmente ao sentido de deslocamento (X) e perpendicularmente à direção (N) normal em relação à superfície do fio de metal (1), de maneira desalinhada entre si.
