Abstract

Se relaciona con un método para la fabricación de un elemento refrigerante (1) para ser utilizada en la estructura de un horno utilizado en procesos de metal, tales como un horno de fusión rápida, un alto horno, un horno eléctrico u otro reactor metalúrgico, dicho elemento refrigerante comprende una carcasa de cobre (2) hecha en una sola pieza, en donde en dicha carcasa se forma un sistema de canal (3) para la circulación de un medio refrigerante, elementos de revestimiento (4) realizados con material resistente al fuego, dicha carcasa y elemento de revestimiento incluyen medios para conectarlos entre sí, caracterizados por que el elemento de revestimiento (4) y la carcasa (2) se conectan de manera tal que el elemento de revestimiento (4) puede moverse en dirección vertical con respecto a la carcasa (2). También se relaciona con un elemento refrigerante.
