Abstract
La presente se refiere a reacciones térmicas que se realizan a temperaturas transitorias rápidas, y a un horno (1) que es capaz de realizar dichas reacciones. El método y el horno pueden de forma adecuada aplicarse para realizar reacciones entre reactivos en los que se presentan pérdidas significativas de forma normal a determinadas temperaturas transitorias o rangos de temperaturas. Una aplicacion práctica de la presente se refiere a un método carbotérmico para la produccion de polvos de Metal Duro Refractario, como boruros, nitruros y carburos, y un horno disenado para la realizacion del método. De acuerdo con este método los polvos de Metal Duro Refractario, como polvos de boruro se pueden producir con una pérdida reducida de reactivos como C y B2O3. Esto se puede lograr por medio del calentamiento rápido de la mezcla que contiene los reactivos en un rango de temperatura crítica. Para el desarrollo de esta realizacion en especial se aplico un horno de dos pasos, en el que la temperatura en cada zona de temperatura individual (37, 38) se encuentra de forma respectiva, por debajo y por encima de las temperaturas críticas de la reaccion. De acuerdo con una realizacion de la presente los polvos de boruro, carburo y nitruro con un tamano de grano fino se pueden producir de una forma simple y de efectivo costo.
