Abstract

Un método para el funcionamiento de un motor de combustion interna alternativo reduce la pérdida de potencia de friccion en una potencia indicada para incrementar la potencia neta y para reducir el consumo de combustible específico de freno. Un motor de combustion interna alternativo que posee una característica de rendimiento para generar una potencia máxima indicada (PM) en una primera velocidad establecida del motor (N1) posee una unidad de reduccion de potencia (26). La unidad re reduccion de potencia (26) reduce la potencia de rendimiento del motor de combustion interna alternativo cuando la velocidad de motor excede una segunda velocidad establecida del motor (N2) más baja que la primera velocidad establecida del motor (N1) de manera de que el motor de combustion interna alternativo genera una potencia necesaria indicada (PS) en la segunda velocidad establecida del motor (N2). Un índice superior de velocidad de motor en un índice de velocidad de motor ( R ) en el que la velocidad de motor varía es menor que una velocidad de motor (N3) a la que el motor de combustion interna alternativo convencional equivalente genera una potencia necesaria indicada (PS) (potencia máxima indicada (PM)). La pérdida de la potencia de friccion (PL) en una potencia indicada del motor de combustion interna alternativo es menor que aquella en la misma potencia indicada del motor de combustion interna alternativo convencional equivalente. De manera que la potencia neta incrementa y se reduce el consumo de combustible específico de freno.
