Abstract

Barreras contra insectos para estructuras de edificios formadas por planchas de espuma rígidas y películas o mallas formadas por un material poliméricoimpregnado en su totalidad con un insecticida sintético piretroide como por ejemplo, lapermetrina. Se aplican planchas de espuma en las superficies interioresy exteriores de las paredes de los cimientos para brindar tanto funciones de barrera contra los insectos como de aislacion térmica. Se colocan películas y/o demalla alrededor delos perímetr os internos y externos de los cimientos para formar faldones que sirven como barreras contra los insectos. Se fabrican macetaspara contener plantas en crecimiento con un material polimérico impregnado en su totalidad con un insecticidasintético pire troide. La película de proteccionagrícola para cubrir el suelo debajo y alrededor de una planta en crecimiento se forma de un material polimérico impregnado en su totalidad con un insecticidasintético piretroide. Un dispositivo paracontrolar las hor migas incluye una estaca adaptada para su insercion en un montículo de hormiguero y una cubiertaunida a la estaca para recubrir parcialmente el montículo, estando formadas la estaca y la cubierta de materiales poliméricosimpregnados con insecticidas intético piretroide. En los distintos artículos, el insecticida sintético piretroide está, preferentemente presente en una concentracion en peso menos deaproximadamente el dos por ciento.
