Abstract

Cable superconductor (1) que comprende: a) una capa (20) de cintas que comprenden material superconductor; b) un elemento tubular (6) para el soporte dedicha capa de cintas que comprenden material superconductor (20); c) un circuito de enfriamiento,para enfriar el material superconductor a una temperatura deejercicio no superior a su temperatura crítica, caracterizado porque dicho elemento tubular (6) es compuesto y comprende una cantidad prefijada de un primermaterial que tiene un primer coeficiente de dilatacion térmica y un segundo material que tiene un coeficiente de dilatacion térmica superior al de dicho primermaterial, dichos coeficientes de dilatacion y dichas cantidades de dichos primero y segundo materiales se fijan previamente de modo que dicho elemento tubularposea en total una contraccion térmica entre la temperatura ambiente y dicha temperatura de ejercicio del cable tal de causar una deformacion de dichas cintasque comprenden material superconductor, inferior a la deformacion crítica de las cintas propiamente dichas.
