Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film having an uniform thermal expansion rate and an uniform thermal shrinkage rate and useful to take pictures by extending transversely a longitudinal rolled film at a temperature higher than a glass transition point, and heat-treating of multi-stage at the specific temperature to control a boing phenomena through a cooling treatment. CONSTITUTION:Immediately after a thermal plastic resin film (for example: polyethylene terephthalate etc.) rolled longitudinally and uniaxially at a temperature of glass transition is rolled transversely, the film temperature is made lower than the glass transition. Then the films is treated at the temperature T1 in the temperature range: 200-240 deg.C at the first heat treatment portion.
